Shoe Math In New Hampshire!
This morning we answered a survey from a Kindergarten class called,"KinderKids". They created a survey for other Kindergarten children to answer! They wanted to know what type of shoes we wear in our class. What fun! We will now be a part of their spreadsheet and will hear about their results soon! Great Math Fun!

Tea Party Photographs!
The children had a wonderful time! This was a great opportunity to practice and see the importance of having "good"/polite manners. The tea and the treats were a huge success! Thanks to all of you for your generous contributions.
Good Bye Miss Post!
This morning we had a special farewell celebration for our awesome student intern Miss Ellen Post. The children presented Miss Post with a card they made especially for her as well as a comment about what Miss Post did to help us. Thanks so much Miss Post for all that you did!
Miss Post also showed us a video that she created. It was wonderful! We will share at our Kindergarten graduation.

Problem Solving Time!
This afternoon we used unifix cubes to help us make mathematical discoveries. Each table sorted the cubes in different ways. We noticed that we all sorted them by color first. After wards we each worked with a smaller group of cubes and came up with different ideas of how to sort our group of cubes. Some of our ideas were; by size, tallest to smallest, patterns that we created, long and short lines, and some of us sorted our cubes by the number! Wow! Lots of great math thinking happened this afternoon.
Some of the children used a document camera to display and show their mathematical thinking! This was awesome as we could see what we did on our SMARTboard!

Sugaring At The Isham Family Farm
This morning we had a great time at the Isham Family Farm. The children were able to learn about the importance of the Maple Tree, walk into the woods to learn about how important the Maple Trees are in the process of sugaring and then what a sugar house is.
We all enjoyed a tasty maple treat after our tour. Thanks again to all of you for your support with this trip.
