Making A Difference For Our Community

This afternoon we walked over to the Williston Food Shelf. We had 2 loaded wagons of food to donate. We learned a lot about how the food shelf works, who can visit and how it helps people in our community. Some of the items the food shelf needs are: tuna fish, spaghetti, canned fruit and canned tomatoes.

This afternoon we had a conversation about ways we could make a difference in our classroom, school, community and the world.  The children had some wonderful ideas.  I wanted to share them with you.

Please remember to send in food for the food shelf also.  We will be walking to the food shelf after our holiday break.

This morning we had a great opportunity to work with other kindergarten children in Mrs. Spagnola's class.  We were sharing what we create on iPads using Doodle Buddy.  We were collaborating, being kind and responsible.
