Welcome to our classroom blog! Our blog is like a journal, a never ending account and record of all the exciting adventures we experience in Kindergarten. We are an enthusiastic group of people who care about each other and the world. We hope you enjoy reading, listening and watching what we do!
This morning, Tao, a visitor from China showed Kindergarten children in Mrs. D's and Mrs. Spagnola's class a slideshow of where she lives. It was so interesting to see the houses, the people and all the different sized buildings. Tao shared that it snows there, but not a lot. We also learned how to count to 10 in Chinese! Tao will visit our classroom everyday this week.
This afternoon Miss Vermont visited our classroom. Mrs. Dyer's Kindergarten class joined us too! Ms. Vermont shared many interesting things with us. She talked about how important it is to have a great education so you can learn all that you can. She shared how important it is to have role models in our lives that inspire us and encourage us to do our best and try new things.
Some of the things we are doing that make a difference are collecting food for the Williston Food Shelf and participating in Green Up Day. She shared a wonderful story with us also. It is;" of Thee I Sing" This book is written by President Barack Obama.
