Remembering to 'Look up!"
Mrs. Birdsall visited Kindergarten and read us a wonderful story called;"Hello, hello". The story had an important message for us. Digital tools are wonderful and can offer a lot of opportunities for learning, but it is important to have balance and to "look up" from your screen and see who and what is around you!

Going Places Safely!
Create your own free picture collage |
1. Where have you been?
Some of our responses were; "I've been to Seattle.", "Blueberry picking", "I went to the orchard."
2. How do you keep safe?
Some of our responses were; "I stay with my parents." "I don't run away."
So we need to do the following to be safe when we are online and using digital tools:
1. Ask parents for permission
2. Talk to people we know
3. Stick to places that are "just right" for you.

Becoming Safe, Kind and Responsible Digital Citizens!
Digital Citizenship Inside/Outside of Kindergarten!
Today Mrs. Birdsall spoke to us about how we can be safe when we use digital tools. We created our own identity using Doodle Buddy on our iPads. This is the identity we will use on our Kidblogs too!
Being Safe.....
1. We are kids so we do not use our real names with our real photo.
2. We share only kind things about what we are learning.
3. We always check with an adult before we use the internet.
