Today we begin exploring the life of a polar bear. These amazing creatures have so many unique characteristics and adaptations for the cold climate. Today we learned that the Arctic Fox follows the polar bear to eat any left over remains from what he is eating. The bear has lots of blubber to keep it warm and to help insulate their body when they go swimming in the cold Arctic waters.
Today we started to create a polar bear out of cardboard. Ask your child about the story we read that inspired us.
