Today we used explore.org to explore and observe arctic animals in their natural habitat. 

We created beautiful covers for our Arctic Animals drawings too.

Today we were cartographers and created our own maps of where we might find Arctic animals if we visited the North Pole.

We are becoming cartographers this week too. We are making a map of the Arctic and Antarctica to help us explore the animals that live there and their habitats and special adaptations.

Today we made connections with this wonderful story. We noticed that the bears have many unique features. We are thinking they have these features because of where they live. They like the cold weather and the snow.

Today we supported Global Goal 33 by being kind and helpful to each other and nature. We also helped keep ourselves healthy on our long hike using snowshoes today too.
