A Projector Comes To Kindergarten!
Wow! We are so lucky to have a projector in Kindergarten! The projector enables us to see our classroom blog, wiki, student work on paint and also to use to demonstrate how to use math games too! Be sure to ask your child about it!
Today we had a child from our classroom log on, go to the blog and show us what she saw and even how to enlarge the screen to make it bigger! Wow! This is wonderful!

What Happens To Seeds?
This morning we began working on our Seed Booklets. We also had an opportunity to look closely at what happens to an acorn seed when it falls to the ground. We also checked on our radish seeds and wow! They started to sprout. The black paper made it easy for us to observe the root and root hairs. Then we checked in on our marigold plants! Lots of things growing in Kindergarten.

The 4 Seasons of The Year!
This morning during our writing time the children created beautiful pictures of the changes that occur during the seasons. We also worked on a poem/story called, "Caps, Hats, Socks, and Mittens." The poem is a story about the seasons. The children began writing their own poem for each season of the year!
