A Celebration Of Dr. Seuss!
We enjoyed a special luncheon on Thursday. We were celebrating all of the wonderful writing, illustrating and of course the connections we made through our author study of Dr. Seuss. We also have been collaborating with our Kindergarten friends in Texas too! We have been reading Dr. Seuss books together and focusing on Making Connections. What a great opportunity this has been for the children.

Mrs. Birdsall Visits Kindergarten!
This morning Mrs. Birdsall came to our classroom to talk to us about the importance of being safe, kind and responsible when we are using technological tools! We talked about having trust for what we are sharing with others and how important it is to be honest about what we are doing and sharing as well as using technology tools in ways that help support our learning. Thanks so much Mrs. Birdsall for all that you do!

Strengthening Our Abdominal Muscles!
Waiting To Catch The Ball |
Today Ms. Peggy and Ms. Chris, from UVM visited Kindergarten. They showed us some great activities to do using exercise balls. We practiced sitting up straight and keeping our bodies quiet and centered while tossing a smaller ball back and forth. The movements we practiced keep our stomach muscles strong! We call this strengthening our muscles.
