Words Come Alive!
This morning we had a wonderful workshop with Ms. Suzanne from the Flynn Theater. She helped us use our voices and bodies to tell stories and to show how birds move, grow and eat! It was lots of fun pretending we were on our own stage!

National Walk @Lunch Day 2015
A digital collage by Smilebox |
Hello Howard Wigglebottom!
Today we connected with an author using @Skypeclassroom. We heard a new story about listening and learned a new song. Our guest told us that our online etiquette was awesome! That filled our buckets!
When we are online, we listen, share, use kind words and ask meaningful questions!

Creating and Designing What We Are Discovering About Birds of Prey!
This morning we were able to watch live footage of a mother Eagle taking care of her baby eaglets! We also created scientific drawings and wrote about hawks. We are learning so much about the special features of birds!

We also use Google to help us find real photographs to help us with our research.
We enjoy learning from Ms. Marissa each week too! Today we explored different types of birds and their special features.
We enjoy our older mentors who visit each week and help us with our reading and writing! We create many different places inside our classroom when we read and write.
Kindergarten is lots of fun!
