Creating 3D "Gingerbread" Houses
We had a wonderful time creating our own 3D Gingerbread Houses. The children created their own house while thinking about the different shapes they needed and their features. The houses are both beautiful and yummy! Thanks again to everyone for your continued support and cooperation.

Keslo's Choice
This afternoon Ms. S. visited Kindergarten to help us explore "how to" make choices to solve problems. We have this poster in our classroom to help us make a choice about what strategy we want to try.
Also click here to see a great video that shares what the choices are, like Kelso that we will be exploring when we have a problem to solve.

Photo slideshow created with Smilebox |
We learned that:
Vermont has 1 landfill.
We need to reduce the amount of trash we produce to help keep our world healthy.
Each person can produce 1 trash bag of trash a day. We are thinking about how we can reduce that.

A Special Treat From Korea!
This afternoon we had an opportunity to try a new tea called; "Citron Tea". We met the owner of the company in Korea. He traveled all the way to Vermont to meet us and share his tea. It tasted like lemon. We also enjoyed a special Korean snack too.
