Today we celebrated the gift of friendship. The children came up with some ideas about what friendship is.
Friendship is:
caring, sharing, helping someone, believing in a friend, helping someone be happy, including others, inviting people to play, smiling, and having hope.
I knit kerchief's and scarves for the children. Enjoy!
Today we created cards of kindness. Tomorrow we celebrate friendship and will do a card exchange.

Today we are exploring snow and what can happen to it when the temperature changes. We started to think about what is in the snow when it melts and to think about how this might impact the lakes, oceans, and even the land.
Today we watched a Mystery Science lesson that focused on how polar animals survive the cold.

Today we explored how when we have a problem it can also be an opportunity to think about things differently. The story inspired us to think about problems differently.
This afternoon we went snowshoeing and imagined we were walking on top of icebergs!
Today we thought about ways we could reuse things that we throw away. The story we read inspired us to think more about the waste we create and how it can impact the land and water.

Today we learned many interesting things about the octopus. We are creating a counting book to 10 of all the things that an octopus can do and their special features.
