Today we wrote about our favorite characters in 2 books that we read. We noticed that when we write words it is important to leave a space so we can read what we wrote. As readers, we noticed that all books have spaces between their words too. This makes it easier to read what the author writes.
Respect is the word of the day today! This idea was inspired by a wonderful book that Peter Reynolds wrote, The Word Collector. We are collecting important words and posting them on a tree in kindergarten.
We like this book and think it connects to global goal 4 because we want all children to know about words and be able to read them.We also enjoyed running outside quickly when we noticed it was snowing!
