Today was a wonderful day! Our principal, Angela Filion visited kindergarten and read us a wonderful story called; "Be Kind." As a school community we are thinking about ways we can be kind inside and outside of our classroom.
Ms. S. visited kindergarten and we learned some new yoga moves to help us feel calm. We are exploring the zones of regulation. Be sure to ask your child about what they are and how they help us.
Today we planted more bulbs in our garden bed that is outside of our classroom. Later we created scientific drawings of our sunflower seedlings and bulbs. As scientists we talked a lot about how our illustrations and drawings are real and are what we observe with our eyes.
Ms. Wilson visited kindergarten this morning and we created our identities. When we are online we never want to use our real photo with our real name. We used Doodle Buddy to create our identities.
Look here to see photos of our day!
We put together our very own global goal glasses and read a great rhyming story by Eric Carle. We are listening for words in stories that rhyme.
Welcome to our classroom blog! Our blog is like a journal, a never ending account and record of all the exciting adventures we experience in Kindergarten. We are an enthusiastic group of people who care about each other and the world. We hope you enjoy reading, listening and watching what we do!
