Today we were invited to create posters that represent the importance of the 3 r's.  We have explored recycling, reducing and reusing all year in our classroom.  Recycle Rhonda has been a great teacher and resource for us.  We are excited to share our excitement with others so more people can help take care of our beautiful world.

Creating 3D "Gingerbread" Houses

We had a wonderful time creating our own 3D Gingerbread Houses.  The children created their own house while thinking about the different shapes they needed and their features.  The houses are both beautiful and yummy!  Thanks again to everyone for your continued support and cooperation.

Thanks so very, very much for your support with our trip to the food shelf today.  We had a beautiful day for a walk and the children did a wonderful job.  We learned that the food shelf helps lots of people in Chittenden County.  Some items of need are; toilet paper, soup, cereal, tooth paste, tooth brushes, and dinners.  Here is a link to the food shelf in Williston.

This morning we had an opportunity to connect with a forest ranger in Yellowstone National Park.  He showed us some animals furs of animals that live in the park.  We asked some great questions and learned a lot about the life of a forest ranger.  We used @skypeclassroom to connect.
