Look here to see photos from today.

We created magic wands to help us with our reading and writing super powers. 1 of our wands will be coming home to use.

What a wonderful day we had in kindergarten. We walked to the food shelf and learned about where the food goes that people donate. We liked seeing the global goals sign up at the food shelf too!

Today we had fun playing today. Through play we create and design useful things. Today a friend created a window scrapper.

We are locating missing words in our morning message and then writing them!

Look here to see photos from today.

The children are working on their tree books. It is wonderful to see the children beginning to write independently and make connections with the strategies they are using.

We can connect 2 global goals to our exploration of trees. Trees keep the land healthy and us healthy too!

The snow outside is giving us an opportunity to think about what happens to trees in winter.
Seesaw is a great tool for us to use. We have been working on creating letters, reading sight words and sorting pictures according to their sound.

We reflected on our learning so far about the forest and then we thought about ideas we are still wondering about.

We are so grateful for our materials from DonorsChoose. The materials will help us think mathematically and scientifically when we are outside in nature.
