Strengthening Our Abdominal Muscles!

The children loved taking turns sitting on the colorful balls.  The balls helped us sit in one place and to sit up straight!  We were surprised at how this activity also helped up with our balance.

Today Ms. Peggy and Ms. Chris, from UVM visited Kindergarten.  They showed us some great activities to do using exercise balls.  We practiced sitting up straight and keeping our bodies quiet and centered while tossing a smaller ball back and forth.  The movements we practiced keep our stomach muscles strong!  We call this strengthening our muscles.
